Social Media Marketing Services in Canada That Produce Enquiries

We run social accounts that produce enquiries, not just impressions. Strategy, content production, posting, community management and paid social, handled by one team so the organic and paid sides finally pull in the same direction.

  • Free account and competitor review
  • Content shot and edited in house
  • Reporting on leads, not likes

What does a social media marketing service actually include?

Strategy and channel selection, a content calendar, design and video production, scheduled posting, replies and community management, paid social where it fits, and monthly reporting that connects activity to enquiries.

Most social media packages are a posting service. Twelve graphics a month, a caption with eight hashtags, and a report showing reach went up. None of that answers the only question the owner actually has, which is whether any of it produced business.

We start from the offer rather than the calendar. What is the thing you want people to do, what stops them doing it, and which channel are those people actually on. For a clinic that might be one strong Instagram presence with real patient education. For a B2B supplier it is almost always LinkedIn and nothing else. For a restaurant it is short form video and very little written content.

Then we build the content that fits that answer, run it consistently, and put budget behind whatever earns attention organically. That last part matters. Boosting a post that already worked is far cheaper than paying to force reach on a post nobody engaged with.

  • Channel strategy based on where your buyers actually are
  • Content production including graphics, short form video and copy
  • Community management with real replies, not canned responses
  • Paid social layered on top of what already performs organically

Which social media platforms should my business be on?

Fewer than you think. Two channels run properly will beat five run badly every time. The right pair depends on whether you sell to consumers or businesses, and whether your product is visual.

Here is how we usually judge it. The recommendation comes out of the free review, based on your category and your competitors.

01

Instagram

Strong for anything visual: food, fitness, clinics, retail, trades showing finished work. Reels carry most of the reach now, so video capability matters more than grid design.

02

Facebook

Still the best channel for local reach in most Canadian markets, particularly for older demographics, community groups and events. Also where most local paid social budget performs best.

03

LinkedIn

The only channel worth serious effort for most B2B. Personal profiles outperform company pages, so we usually build a founder or team led approach rather than a brand feed.

04

TikTok

Worth it when you can produce genuine short form video weekly. It rewards volume and personality, and punishes repurposed corporate content. Not a channel to enter half committed.

05

YouTube

The long game, and the one with the longest tail. A tutorial recorded once can bring enquiries for years, and it feeds search results as well as the platform.

06

Pinterest

Underrated for home services, interiors, weddings and ecommerce. Traffic is slower to build but the intent is unusually high and the content keeps working.

What is included in a monthly social media retainer?

A content calendar approved in advance, production of every asset, scheduling and publishing, daily community management, paid campaign management where budget exists, and one monthly report and call.

Volume is set by the plan you choose. The list below is what the work covers regardless of volume.

Planning and strategy

  • Audit of your accounts and your three closest competitors
  • Channel recommendation with the reasoning written down
  • Monthly content calendar approved before anything publishes
  • Campaign planning around your promotions and seasonality
  • Hashtag and keyword research per platform
  • Quarterly strategy review as the numbers come in

Content production

  • Graphic design in your brand for feed, story and ad formats
  • Short form video editing from your footage or ours
  • Caption writing that sounds like a person, not a brand deck
  • Photography and video days available on site in the GTA
  • Repurposing so one shoot produces a month of content
  • Asset library handed over to you every quarter

Running and measuring

  • Scheduling and publishing at the times your audience is on
  • Comment and message replies within business hours
  • Review and complaint handling with an agreed escalation path
  • Paid social setup, targeting, creative testing and optimisation
  • Monthly report on reach, engagement, clicks and enquiries
  • A standing monthly call to review and adjust

How does the first ninety days work?

Month one is audit, strategy and building the content system. Month two is consistent publishing and learning what lands. Month three is scaling what worked and putting budget behind it.

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Audit and strategy

We review your accounts, your competitors and your existing content, then agree which channels to commit to and what the content is actually meant to achieve.

  2. Weeks 2 to 4

    Build the system

Templates, brand assets, a shoot if needed, and the first month of content produced and approved in advance so publishing never depends on somebody being free that day.

  3. Month 2

    Publish and learn

Consistent output, active community management, and close attention to which formats earn attention. Most accounts find two or three formats that consistently outperform.

  4. Month 3 onward

    Scale what works

More of the formats that landed, less of what did not, and paid budget behind the strongest organic pieces. Reporting shifts from engagement to enquiries once there is enough volume.

How much does social media management cost in Canada?

Canadian agencies typically charge between 800 and 5,000 dollars a month for social media management. The number depends on channel count, how much original content is produced, and whether video and paid campaigns are included.

Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platform, never through us. That keeps your billing transparent and means you own the ad accounts and every audience built inside them.

PlanTypical monthlyOutputSuited to
Presence$800 to $1,5002 channels, 8 to 12 posts, basic repliesSmall local businesses keeping accounts alive and credible
Growth$1,500 to $3,0002 to 3 channels, 16 to 20 posts, short form video, active community managementBusinesses using social as a real enquiry channel
Full service$3,000 to $5,000Multi channel, weekly video, paid campaigns, monthly shootBrands where social is a primary acquisition channel
Paid social only$900 plus 10% of spendCampaign build, creative testing, optimisation, reportingBusinesses with content handled who need the ads run properly

Photography and video production days are quoted separately. Ad spend goes directly to Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn from your own account.

How is this different from a cheap social media package?

Cheap packages publish stock graphics on a schedule and report on reach. We produce original content, reply to actual humans, connect the posts to a landing page, and report on what came out the other end.

How do you measure whether social media is working?

Three layers: whether content is being seen, whether it is being acted on, and whether those actions became enquiries. Follower count is the least useful number on the report and we treat it that way.

Attribution on social is genuinely harder than on search. Someone sees three reels over two weeks, then searches your business name and calls. Analytics will call that direct traffic and social gets no credit at all. We handle that by tracking the leading indicators properly and asking on the enquiry form where people heard about you.

What goes on the report is saves and shares rather than likes, profile visits and link clicks, message and enquiry volume, and cost per lead for anything paid. Where you have a CRM we push the source through so closed business can be traced back to the channel.

  • Saves and shares treated as the real engagement signal
  • Link clicks and profile actions tracked per post format
  • Message and enquiry volume counted, not estimated
  • "How did you hear about us" wired into your forms

What does working with our social team look like?

One calendar approved in advance, a shared folder with every asset, replies handled inside business hours, and one monthly call. Nothing publishes that you have not seen.

Approval happens once a month in a single pass rather than post by post, which is what makes consistent publishing possible. Urgent or reactive content still gets checked with you before it goes out.

Social media questions Canadian owners ask us

Bring the rest to the review call. We will look at your accounts on the call rather than sending a template audit afterwards.

Ask us directly

How many times a week should my business post?

Consistency beats volume. Three strong posts a week that get saved and shared will do more than daily filler. For short form video led accounts the maths changes and four to five a week is closer to right, because the algorithm rewards output there.

Do you create the content or do we send it to you?

We create it. Most clients send us raw footage from their phone, product photos or a monthly voice note about what is happening in the business, and we turn that into a month of content. Where more is needed we run a shoot day on site.

How long before social media brings in leads?

Paid social can produce enquiries in the first week. Organic takes longer, usually two to three months before there is enough consistency for the algorithm and the audience to respond. Accounts starting from near zero should plan for six months to build something durable.

Do I need to be on video?

It helps a lot, particularly for service businesses where people are buying you rather than a product. That said, plenty of accounts work without a face on camera using product, process and results footage. We will tell you honestly how much it is costing you to stay off camera.

Who owns the accounts and the ad account?

You do, always. We work inside your Business Manager with our own access, so if the relationship ends you keep the pages, the ad account, the pixel data and every audience built inside it. We do not create client accounts under our own business.

Can you handle negative comments and reviews?

Yes. We agree an escalation path at the start: what we reply to directly, what gets flagged to you first, and what never gets answered in public. Most negative comments are best answered quickly and calmly, then moved to a private message.

Should I run ads or grow organically first?

Both, but in that order within each piece of content. Publish organically, see what earns saves and shares on its own, then put budget behind the proven pieces. Paying to distribute content nobody engaged with is the most common way social budget gets wasted.

Do you work with businesses outside the GTA?

Yes. We are in Mississauga and run accounts for clients in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa and further out. Shoot days are simplest inside the GTA, and outside it most clients either film themselves to our brief or we schedule a travel day quarterly.
